Girls get the adrenalin pumping

Despite having the ball in our forward line most of the first half, scoring opportunities were few and far between due to a packed Collegiate defence on the small ground. After relentless pressure from our girls, Sarah opened our account with her first ever goal - a nicely struck shot from inside the penalty area. Collegiate scored a classy reply to even the scores and blood pressures soared around the field as the game evened out with both side's defences getting tested.

Mid-way through the second half, we started getting the ball quickly into our forward line and creating more space. Some excellent goal-keeping from Collegiate's goalie kept them alive, but Jessica eventually put one past her. This was followed by two powerful strikes from Charlotte that finished off the game, giving us another good win.
